More On The Menu For Madison Students

The school lunch program is getting some modifications next year.

MADISON--Students buying lunch and breakfast at school next year will notice some big changes.

The Madison Board of Education voted to opt out of the National School Lunch Program and the Connecticut Healthy Foods Certification Program, according to The Source.

Not participating in the two programs will allow the district to expand their lunch menus for students, The Source reports.
