Papa Joe? Looking Good! Feeling Better ...

Our very own Papa Joe underwent surgery recently to correct a problem with his heart and he is already doing much better, thank you. 

We checked in with his daughter, Andrea Panullo, Tuesday to see how he was doing and she said he's out of surgery, still in the intensive care unit, but "doing really well."  

"He's going to be better than ever" now that his heart problem has been repaired, she said. 

She's not sure when he'll be back in action on his ice cream truck, but she said the whole family is thrilled that he is doing so well. 

His biggest worry at the moment? That is that Bailey, his adorable dog, is being spoiled rotten during his stay with Andrea and her dog, Bella, who happens to be Bailey's cousin. Chances are ... he's right.
