Police Close Wall Street In Downtown Commercial District Following Accident
Truck accident takes wires down. Road closed for several hours as repairs made, later re-opened.

Madison Police Commander John Rich said Friday afternoon around 1 p.m. that Wall Street, between Bradley Road and the Boston Post Road was closed following a truck accident that took wires down.Â
Commander Rich said police and emergency responders arrived on the scene, along with CL&P, Comcast, and other trucks to secure the area and make repairs.Â
As of 2:25 p.m., Wall Street was re-opened to vehicles, but some sidewalk areas remained closed to pedestrians.Â
