Presentation At Madison's Scranton Library Discusses Green Burials

The event will offer information on planning a natural funeral.

MADISON, CT — Wednesday, June 25, 6:30 p.m.

Are you curious about having a Green Burial? In this seminar, we will explore ways to ensure your sustainable and eco-friendly end-of-life disposition plans. Participants will review the criteria that make end-of-life disposition environmentally sustainable, explain the challenges that occur when this type of disposition is not planned, and outline the steps and benefits of preparing for this type of funeral. By the end of this seminar presented by Marty Palmieri, Senior Funeral Director and Advanced Planning Specialist representing Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home (Essex) & the Swan Shoreline Funeral Group (Old Saybrook, Clinton, Madison), you will be able to plan your natural funeral and feel confident sharing it with your family and friends. Participants will also receive informational handouts summarizing the presentation highlights and featuring your own Green Burial Planning Guide!
