MADISON, CT — With Madison in the midst of updating its 2016 Coastal Resilience Plan, the town has scheduled a public information session and workshop on Thursday, May 29, to discuss the effort.

The plan update is designed to create a broader Community Resilience Plan "that will address a wider range of risks that were not fully analyzed in the original version– including impacts to drinking water systems and supply wells, historic and cultural resources, and socially vulnerable populations," according to officials.

Thursday's session will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Madison Senior Center; the event will include a hands-on group exercise where participants can share ideas and provide input to help shape the plan, officials said.
