Road Closures Planned For Memorial Day Parade

From Madison 911 Emergency Communications Center: Memorial Day Parade Madison’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013, commencing at 10:00 AM. The parade will proceed west on Route 1 from Samson Rock Drive to the West Cemetery at Jannas Lane. The parade will require road closures, and residents and motorists should expect traffic delays along the parade route between 10:00 AM and noon. Affected areas will include Boston Post Road (Route 1) and intersecting roads between Wall Street/Samson Rock Drive and Jannas Lane. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the parade. Residents/Visitors requiring access to Middle Beach Road, Madison Beach Hotel, or the Madison Surf Club should use East Wharf Road to access those areas during the parade.
