Santa Arrives In Downtown Madison This Weekend
The Saturday event is hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce.
MADISON, CT — Santa Claus is set to visit downtown Madison on Saturday, Dec. 6, during a two-hour community event featuring a parade and a variety of seasonal activities. The event is open to the public.
The celebration begins at 11 a.m. with a parade that will include both Madison fire departments, the Madison Police Department and the Limelite Dance Team. The procession will start at Madison Hose Co. 1 and make its way through the downtown area before concluding at the Scranton Library, where Santa is scheduled to arrive.
After the parade, Santa will greet visitors and pose for photos on the library’s front steps. Families may bring cameras and letters for Santa; those requesting a written reply are asked to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
