Shuttered For 2 Months MOXIE Is Back For Take-Out, Parties, Catering
Forced to close back in August owing to a staffing shortage, the popular Madison eatery opens Wednesday for take-out, catering, parties.
MADISON, CT — MOXIE is back, albeit for take-out, catering and private parties.
The popular eatery in Madison shuttered back in early August owing to a staff shortage, which it was noted at the time led to a "very abbreviated menu, inconsistent hours" and affected service, and food quality.
Bill Plunkett shared the news at the time on Facebook. He said that the new American cuisine eatery on Wall Street, was closing its doors. But Plunkett said then he hoped to get a "full staff in place and develop a new drink and dinner menu and reopen sometime in this autumn." That sometime is now, but not the way it was.

It's noted that each week, the chefs will be "adding new options as well as MOXIE‘s famous to-go cocktails."
"I can’t wait to get in the kitchen and show you our chops," chef Michael was quoted as saying.
