Madison Skate Park May Relocate To Surf Club: Report

MADISON, CT — The skate park previously located behind the Madison Arts Barn may have found a new home.

The park was taken down on Oct. 5 to make room for a new emergency communications tower. According to the Madison Source, the Surf Club may serve as the park’s new home.

In the article, First Selectman Thomas Banisch said he hoped the skate park would be rebuilt by the spring. He said the town has yet to decide how to best fund the construction. Financial factors include the cost of paving and preparing the surface.
