Special Town Meeting Scheduled In Madison

The meeting is about a special appropriation.

MADISON, CT — A Special Town Meeting has been scheduled in Madison Tuesday, May 27, to discuss a special appropriation for the Emergency Shelter Generator project at Polson Middle School, according to officials.

The meeting will review the project, and whether to use the undesignated fund balance for the work.

"This is the town’s matching component of the federal grant and is consistent with the original grant application and has been budgeted for," wrote First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons in a recent Community Update.
