Temporary Closure Announced For Dog Park In Madison

The park will be closed for two days this week, according to officials.

MADISON, CT — The Madison Dog Park is scheduled for poison ivy control treatment this week, and will be closed on Thursday and Friday, according to officials.

The park, located at Salt Meadow Park, 1362 Boston Post Road in Madison, will reopen at 7 a.m. on Saturday.

"We'll be using Prosecutor, a spray which is nontoxic to pets 24 hours after drying. Please do not enter the Dog Park until Saturday at 7 a.m. when the lock will be removed. Thanks for your understanding!" officials wrote in a statement.
