The Star Magnolia In Front Of The Library Is Blooming! Here's How To Take It Home With You.
And, congratulations to Jack and Jack! All about that and more from the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

This information was written and provided by the Madison Chamber of Commerce:
Well - FINALLY we're getting some real Spring weather. School vacation is winding down and the students and teachers who were lucky enough to get away are returning home tanned and rested. Â
Soon we'll be complaining about the humidity, so let's enjoy this beautiful time of year while we have it.
I hope you have seen the gorgeous Star Magnolia blooming in front of Scranton Library. If you haven't, be sure to rush downtown to catch a glimpse, as its blooms are fleeting and tonight's rain may wash them away.  Chris Jennings Penders of CJP Photos, who also works at the Library, is having s Spring Sale of his great photos, including gorgeous shots of the Star Magnolia - 25% off until April 26 at 9PM.   Click here for more details.

Oh Tannenbaum!
The town's malformed and malfunctioning Christmas tree just East of the Town Green (and right outside the Chamber office) is a thing of the past. The 2 hurricanes along with Blizzard Nemo did it in, and a group of citizens came to the rescue (read: NO cost to the town!). The group, led by George Gerard of Madison Auto Body, consists of Jay Santoro of Madison Flower Shop & Garden Center, Mike Grigor of Affordable Tree experts, Kenny Evarts of Seashore Cnstruction, Charlie Iselin of Iselin Tree Experts, and Phil Janssen of Lawn & Stump Service.  The NEW AND IMPROVED tree is set to be planted on Monday, April 22 at 11am. Be sure to come down and watch, and thank these generous citizens in person!
Don't Miss the Semiannual Jo Malone Event on Thursday, April 25 from 5 to 8pm! bellaPerlina Jewelry, 673 Boston Post Road in Madison, is helping to support Nite In Hand! A portion of their 2013 commemorative Graduation Bracelet proceeds and 100% of their Jo Malone Raffle ticket proceeds will benefit NIH, a safe, fun, substance free event for the graduating seniors of Daniel Hand High School. Shops with black & gold balloons will all be open that evening.

Congratulations to Jack Caldwell as he celebrates 25 years of picture framing in Madison!  Now running his own shop, The "New" Frame Shop on Wall Street/Caldwell Galleries at 36 Wall Street in Madison, Caldwell laughs and says "it's kind of funny to be the new guy in town after 25 years." Caldwell's newest endeavor with web designer and now project partner Cathi Bosco of C&D Studios in Madison, is a website called ArtsSlam.com. "We're hoping to take the site live in May." Caldwell Says "The site will be a place for artists, photographers, poets, musicians and videographers to post their work for free creating an opportunity to give them a wider audience.
