Town Clerk's Office In Madison Will Be Closed One Day This Week

MADISON, CT — The Madison Town Clerk's Office will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 18, for staff development and training, according to officials.

The temporary closure is only for one day, and the office will reopen at its usual time of 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19.

"Recordings can be placed in the grey drop box outside the Town Hall North entrance (facing Police Station), and recording information will be emailed to you the next day," officials said in a statement. "If you are in need of a notary on September 18, we recommend you call and check availability at the Scranton Memorial Library, or the UPS stores in Guilford or Clinton."
