Voting Instructions Issued In Madison For November Election

The following information is from First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons:

MADISON, CT — VOTING IN THE NOVEMBER ELECTION

Election Day is November 4, 2025, and there are many ways to cast your vote!

Absentee Ballot
Voting by absentee ballot is a two-step process.

Step 1: Submit an Application for an Absentee Ballot online with the State of Connecticut OR visit our website for a downloadable ballot application.
Return the application to the Town Clerk by mail or drop it into the Official Ballot Drop Box at Madison Town Campus in the circular parking lot between the Town Hall and the Town Gym.

The Town Clerk will begin sending out absentee ballots on October 3, 2025.

Step 2: Complete your ballot and return it to the secured Official Ballot Drop Box located outside of Town Hall, or mail it to Madison Town Clerk, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT 06443.

Early Voting and Same Day Registration & Voting
Early Voting will be held at Town Hall, 8 Campus Drive, Meeting Room B from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 20-27, 29, 31, and November 1 and 2, 2025. Early voting hours on October 28 and 30, 2025 are 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Same Day Registration & Voting is held at the same location, dates and times as Early Voting noted above.

Election Day – Nov. 4, 2025
Polls will be open 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

District 1: Polson Middle School, 302 Green Hill Road.
All registered voters who live at properties on the even numbered side of Green Hill Road and South.

District 2: Brown Elementary School, 980 Durham Road.
All registered voters who live at properties on the odd numbered side of Green Hill Road and North.
