Walk The Shoreline Greenway Trail With A Special Guest In Madison

The walk is part of the Shoreline Green Trail's Master Series in Madison.

MADISON, CT – Shoreline Greenway Trail will hold a walk at the Hammonasset section in Madison with special guest Bob Kuchta, Madison’s former Tree Warden.

The Shoreline Green Trail’s Master Series is set for Saturday, June 10, at 10 a.m.

Meet at the Shoreline Greenway Trailhead parking lot to participate in the walk.

During the master series, participants will learn about all things trees, including identification, native and non-native species found along the trail, and exciting facts about tree growth and appearance and taking in the beauty of the trail.

Members of the Madison Land Conservation Trust will join the Master Series event.

The walk is open to the public from any area and is free.

The 2.5-mile roundtrip walk will be easy on gently rolling stone-paved terrain.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The REI-sponsored water station at the trailhead is open for filling water bottles before the walk, and binoculars would be a plus.
