The road will be closed to through traffic during work hours.
MADISON, CT — Connecticut Water Company was expected to begin work to replace the water main on Middle Beach Road in Madison on Monday, a project that town officials said should be completed before Memorial Day.
Work will run from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the road will be closed to through traffic during work hours. Residents of Middle Beach Road will still have access.
After the completion of the Middle Beach Road portion, the project will continue in the fall on East Wharf Road, which is expected to start in early September, with completion by the end of the year. There will be no construction over the summer.
