It was interesting doing the reporting for this story. I ran into more people than I would have expected who said their fathers died before they got to know them, or that their fathers were not present in their lives.
I spoke with others who had lost a husband and so are both father and mother to their children.
And then there were those lucky enough to have fathers in their lives, and fond memories of them. Thanks to those of you who agreed to participate in this video! I enjoyed hearing your stories and thoughts.
