3 Seriously Hurt In 2-Car Crash In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — Three people were seriously hurt in a two-car crash in Manchester on Tuesday.

The crash took place in the early afternoon at the intersection of West Center and Cooper Streets.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they encountered two people under one of the vehicles after being ejected, officials said.

Firefighters were able to pull them to safety without lifting the vehicle, officials said. Both vehicles were left in mangled messes.

Four people, three of which suffered "potentially life-threatening injuries," were transported to local trauma centers, officials said.
