MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester animal control officers and Manchester police are looking for the owner of a dog found leashed to a tree on a local walking and hiking trail. Images of the dog were released Tuesday. He was discovered at Case Mountain on Monday, authorities said. The male dog is a "pit bull/bulldog" type of breed, mostly black with white on his chest, neck and the underside of several of his paws.He was wearing a black leather collar with silver studs on it. The dog appeared healthy in the posted images.
