A vehicle crashed in Manchester over the weekend, fire officials said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A car lay in a mangled mess after rolling over on a stretch of highway in Manchester late Sunday morning, fire officials said.

The single-vehicle crash took place at 10:36 a.m. in the westbound side of Interstate 384, before the East Hartford line.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they were met with a vehicle on its side.

Manchester fire officials said the two occupants were able to crawl out of the vehicle. They were then transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two lanes of I-384 were closed for a brief period of time until the vehicle was removed.
