Ambulance Rolls Over In Non-Emergency Crash In Manchester
An ambulance rolled over after being hit by a civilian vehicle in Manchester Sunday night.

MANCHESTER, CT — An ambulance rolled over after being hit by a civilian vehicle in Manchester Sunday night, police and fire officials said.
The crash took place at 11:13 p.m. at the intersection of Buckland Street and Buckland Hills Road, fire officials said.
When responders arrived, they found an ASM ambulance that had rolled onto its side after tussling with the civilian car.

No patient was in the ambulance, police and fire officials said. The ambulance was traveling in a "routine fashion," not assigned to an emergency call and with no lights or sirens had been activated, fire officials said.
All those involved were able to exit their vehicles under their own power, fire officials said. Two people suffered non – life threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals by fire department paramedics, officials said.

Two additional people refused transportation from the scene, officials said.
The incident is presently under investigation by the Manchester Police Department.
