ARC CT Offers Community Connector Housing Workshops

The event on June 22 at MARC, Inc. of Manchester will review housing options for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.

The ARC Connecticut is offering Community Connector Housing Workshops to review housing options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The workshop will review affordable housing with in-home supports for everyday living. Options discussed will include the Community First Choice (CFC), which may provide funding for in-home supports without a DDS waiting list, as well as home ownership, rental and other supportive housing options.

The workshop will be offered on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at MARC, Inc. of Manchester at their main location at 151 Sheldon Road in Manchester CT.

The workshop is free of charge, but participants must RSVP prior to the event to Melissa Marshall at 860-561-1089 or via email to Melissa.marshall@snet.net. The workshop is made possible by a grant from the Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities.
