MANCHESTER, CT — It was the lottery equivalent of a buzzer-beating shot Friday in Manchester.

A Manchester CT Lottery vendor certainly had the right touch when it came to the Lotto game heading into the weekend — to the tune of more than 2 million bucks. Mack’s Wine & Liquor on Hartford Road sold a jackpot-winning ticket worth $2.2 million to a lucky customer and the ticket for Friday night’s drawing was sold approximately an hour before the draw time.

The winning numbers drawn were: 2, 4, 13, 18, 34, and 38.

For selling the winning ticket, Mack’s Wine & Liquor will receive a $10,000 bonus — one of the many benefits of "being a CT Lottery retail partner," officials said.

As of Tuesday morning, the prize remained unclaimed.
