Final laboratory results on the "suspicious white powder" delivered in a letter that resulted in the closure of Keeney Street Elementary School last week were found negative of any harmful pathogens, according to Fire Chief Robert Bycholski.  Bycholski said it is town policy not to release what the actual substance was determined to be when an incident remains under investigation, as is the case with this incident.  The school was briefly locked down Thursday, May 10, after the main office received a letter containing a white powdery substance and a message that "Al-Qaeda is back."
