MANCHESTER, CT — This week's trip to a Hidden Gem takes us to a nook inside one of Manchester's old factory districts and a place where some of the most unique furniture is made — Wood & Barrel, located at 54 Hilliard St.

Ever really notice how cool the wooden barrels of whiskey are? Or a wine cask? Now think of reclaimed barrels transformed into a table, a hutch, a cabinet, lighting or even an accessory and decor.

How about a dart board or a cooler? There are just restored barrels.
