Little Theatre of Manchester Announces Run of "The Full Monty"

Little Theatre of Manchester to Present the Rousing Pop-Rock Musical THE FULL MONTY The big-hearted comedy will run August 5 - 21.

Manchester - Little Theatre of Manchester, one of Connecticut's oldest community theaters still in operation, announced dates for this upcoming production that's really got the goods! The Full Monty will run August 5 through August 21 at the National Historic Landmark Cheney Hall located at 177 Hartford Road in Manchester, CT.

This hilarious, smash-hit was nominated for ten Tony Awards. Based on the cult classic film, an unlikely band of out-of-work steelworkers decides to turn their lives around by showing the world what they’re made of. The Full Monty is a raucous mix of razor-sharp humor and toe-tapping pizzazz, a one-of-a-kind musical that bares its soul to reveal its heart — all leading up to one of the most anticipated final moments in Broadway history!

Directed by John Pike and choreographed by Jane Krantz, with Music Direction by Kim Aliczi, The Full Monty is the big pop-rock musical that takes it all off!

Set Design will be by Linda Ferreira, Costume Design will be by Amanda Marie and Sound Design will be by Ron Schallack. The Production Stage Manager will be Lucas Veo.

The Full Monty features Book by Terrence McNally and Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek. Based on the motion picture, released by Fox Searchlight Pictures, written by Simon Beaufoy, produced by Uberto Pasolini and directed by Peter Cattaneoe

The Full Monty runs Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $32 for VIP seating in the first six rows and $24 for all remaining seats. Discounts available for seniors, students, and military. Tickets can be purchased 24/7 by visiting cheneyhall.org , through the box office or by calling (860) 647-9824 Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm. There is ample free parking in the lot adjacent to the theatre.

The Little Theatre of Manchester (LTM) was founded in 1960 with the purpose of producing community theatre. Since 1991, Cheney Hall, the state's oldest operating theatre, has been the theatrical residence of LTM.
