The prestigious award recognizes outstanding handlers who exemplify excellence in experience, work ethic, motivation, commitment, dedication, and quality of work. "Officer Fullana and K9 Dakota embody these qualities through their relentless dedication and hard work in keeping our community safe," local police officials said. "Thank you for your service and for setting such a remarkable example for others to follow. This recognition is well-deserved."
