Manchester Community College to Hold Debriefing on Lockdown Monday
The debriefing is scheduled for Monday, March 11, at 3:30 p.m. in the SBM auditorium.

Manchester Community College will hold a "debriefing" Monday afternoon to address an incident that occurred on campus last week that resulted in a campus-wide lockdown.Â
The campus was locked down last Wednesday afternoon after a female student called 911 to report spotting a gun sticking out of the waistband of a male student described as "a heavy-set Hispanic male, about 5’8 – 5’10, wearing a red short sleeved shirt."
After an extensive search, no one matching the description was found on campus, but Manchester Community College President Gena Glickman told Patch that another student was found to be in possession of a gun during the search. A police officer was also shot during the search.Â
