Manchester Democrats will host a joint house nominating convention Tuesday evening in conjunction with the towns of East Hartford, Glastonbury and South Windsor to nominate the Democratic candidates for State Representative for the 9th, 11th, 12th and 13th House Districts.  In addition, Manchester will nominate five candidates for Justices of the Peace and a Registrar of Voters. The Convention will be held at the Manchester Elks Lodge at 30 Bissell St. The convention will start at 6:30 p.m., but light refreshments such as hamburgers and hotdogs will be served at 5:30 p.m.  Candidates are encouraged to bring their families to the event.
