Manchester Offering A "Tour" Of Local Winter Storm Prep Process

MANCHESTER, CT — So ... just what does it take to prepare for a winter storm in Manchester? Pubic Works Director Tim Bockus recently prepared a video to show residents how it's done.

"There's no such thing as a typical storm," Bockus said. "Every storm is different and requires a lot of analysis, planning, and hard work."

The video lets residents take a tour with Bockus and the DPW crews. Bockus showcases the various equipment and processes used to "ensure residents and visitors stay safe on the roads during the winter."
