Manchester Rubber Duck Race Now In Its 16th Year
The Manchester Lion Club is gearing up for its 16th annual Duck Race Fundraiser.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Lion Club is gearing up for its 16th annual Rubber Duck Race Fundraiser.
This year's version is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 at Charter Oak Park.
Hundreds of rubber ducks will be released to race down Birch Mountain Brook through the park. The family friendly event will be staged rain or shine.

Tickets are on sale now at $5 apiece for one or more ducks, and ducks also can be purchased on-site on race day.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the first five ducks to cross the finish line: $1,000 for the first-place winning duck; $500 for second place; $250 for third place; $150 for fourth place; and $100 for fifth place.

Duck ticket holders do not need to be present at the event to win.

Proceeds from duck sales will benefit the Manchester Lions Club Charitable Account that supports a variety of community organizations including the Manchester Area Conference of Churches, Manchester Public Library, Little Theatre of Manchester, Manchester Little League - Girls and Boys, and Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation.
