MANCHESTER CT — The Gift Shoppe at Manchester Town Hall is open again this holiday season for those who want to buy gifts with a local flair.

A wide variety of unique, Manchester-themed items are at the shop, located at the Customer Service and Information area at town hall. Purchases support local non-profits such as The Wall That Heals, Manchester Pipe Band, the art association, the Hockanum River Association, The Manchester Sculpture Project, UR Community Cares and others.

The selection of gifts includes ornaments, trivets, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, tote bags, mugs, history books and note cards.

Another unique idea is a donation to the Manchester Memorial Tree Planting Program.

Town Hall also has Christmas stamps.

Residents can call 860-647-5235 for more information, or stop by to browse at 41 Center Street. Manchester Gift Shoppe hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
