North End Memories Alive And Well In Manchester
The Manchester Community Support Group is hosting a North End Exhibit at the Manchester Historical Society.

MANCHESTER, CT — On Sunday, from noon to to 5 p.m., the Manchester Community Support Group is planning to stage the grand opening of its North End Exhibit at the Manchester Historical Society.
The society is located at 175 Pine St.
The new exhibit — located in the North End Exhibit Room — represents nearly two years of research, design, and construction by a support group team. It preserves and showcases the history of the 8th Utilities District Fire Department and the North End community, and features thousands of photos, videos, and artifacts that span hundreds of years of local history.

The event is free and open to the public, and will include opportunities to meet members of the Manchester Community Support Group, tour the museum, and speak with former 8th District Volunteer Firefighters and North End residents who helped shape a part of Manchester's history.
