Police: Man Breaks Into Apartment, Tries to Live There
A 38-year-old is now facing charges after the bizarre Manchester incident.

A 38-year-old man is under arrest after breaking into a Manchester apartment, reports the Hartford Courant.
The resident returned to her apartment on Case Drive on Sunday morning and noticed that her air conditioner was missing from the window. She heard noises so she called police.

Erqing Xu was found in the bathroom, with the air conditioner, wearing the woman’s jacket. Xu, who is homeless, told police that after he found the apartment empty, he thought the place was empty, so he decided to live there.
He was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, and sixth-degree larceny.
