Police: Man Strangled Woman In Front of Two Children

The 43-year-old is now facing several charges after the Manchester incident.

Jaime Thomasen, of 59 William St. in Manchester, was charged with second-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful restraint, two counts of risk of injury to a child, and four counts of breach of peace.

The woman was driving her 4- and 6-year-old daughters, along with Thomasen, from Glastonbury to Manchester when Thomasen mentioned taking the children overnight, but she said no.

When she got to her home, she said Thomasen grabbed her by the neck outside of the car, choking her, and cutting off her air supply.

She said Thomasen also kicked and insulted her, all in the presence of their daughters.
