Police: Three in Custody After Oak Street Drive-By Shooting

Manchester police said they had taken three men into custody Tuesday afternoon after shots were fired on Oak Street.

Manchester Police confirmed Tuesday afternoon that three men were in custody after a drive-by shooting on Oak Street. 

According to Cpt. Christopher Davis of the Manchester Police Department, several shots were fired at approximately 2:34 p.m. near 243 Oak St., leading to a significant police presence in the Main Street area Tuesday afternoon. 

Davis said no one was hit during the shooting, and that police had taken three men into custody. Davis said at approximately 3:30 p.m. that the department would not be releasing the suspects names or charges yet, because they had just been taken into custody.

Davis said it was too soon to say whether the incident was related to a stabbing that occurred Friday night after a high school football game.
