MANCHESTER, CT — A narcotics raid in Manchester kept some potent drugs off the street, police said.
On Thursday, the East Central Narcotics Task Force, in coordination with the federal Drug
Enforcement Administration's Hartford Regional Office, executed multiple search warrants at 88-7 Oak Street as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The targeted operation focused on 25-year-old Derrick Lee of Manchester, according to an incident report.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Lee's residence, located at 88-7 Oak Street. During the search, investigators recovered a quantity of illicit narcotics, including 10 grams of raw
fentanyl and 10 grams of cocaine (both powder and crack forms), according to an incident report.
The substances were packaged in a manner consistent with distribution, according to an incident report.

Lee was taken into custody and charged with narcotics possession with intent to distribute (three counts — fentanyl, powder cocaine, and crack cocaine), operating a drug factory, and interfering with police, according to an. incident report.
Lee was held on a $250,000 cash/surety bond and was to be arraigned Friday at Manchester Superior Court.
