Rating Agency Pleased With Progress at Manchester High School

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) has removed it's "warning status" from Manchester High School, according to a letter from Principal Matt Geary.

NEASC issued a critical report on the high school in the spring of 2009, which included over 50 recommendations and placed MHS on warning for "the standard of school culture and leadership."

In his letter, Geary said that MHS submitted a progress report to NEASC in February of 2013, and that it learned last week that the agency viewed the report "favorably."

"We are making positive changes that will have important and lasting benefits," Geary said.
