An investigation into a fatal car accident in East Hartford has led to the closure of Silver Lane at the Manchester town line. The driver of a stolen car was killed when it struck a septic truck, <a href="http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Silver-Lane-in-East-Hartford-Closed-After-Fatal-Crash-248208781.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to NBC Connecticut</a>. The accident, which sent the truck driver to the hospital, took place Monday morning and the road was still closed as of 12:30 p.m. <a href="http://www.wfsb.com/story/24870346/crash-closes-silver-lane-in-east-hartford" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">According to WFSB</a>, Silver Lane is closed between Forbes Street and the ramps for I-384, and police suggest using Roberts Street or I-84 as an alternative route.

Police are investigating the accident, which took place just over the border in East Hartford.
