MANCHESTER, CT — UR Community Cares Friday announced that it has received a grant from the Dime Bank Foundation to purchase a vision table for its vision station.
The innovative table is designed to improve the lives of individuals with low vision and mobility disabilities, organization officials said.
The vision table is an ergonomic tilting table with manual height adjustment and was created to support people with mobility challenges. Its various shapes and sizes, built-in tilting tabletop, and steel plate technology enable users to be more independent and self-reliant.
