Weaving Expensive Rental Car Nabbed At 100 MPH-Plus In Manchester
The final lane change for a 100 mph driver in a rental car was to the shoulder with a state police cruiser behind it, according to a report.

MANCHESTER/VERNON, CT — A motorist in an expensive rental car who was weaving in-and-out of traffic at high speeds during the afternoon commute was corralled by state police late last week.
According to an arrest report, at 4:21 p.m. Friday, state police from the Troop C barracks noticed a white Mercedes-Benz with Florida plates frequently changing lanes at better than 100 mph in Tolland County.
A trooper pursued the car into Hartford County and Manchester and pulled it over, according to an arrest report.

The car turned out to be rented and the driver, a 26-year-old from West Haven, was charged with reckless driving (85 mph-plus), speeding and failure to carry a driver's license, according to an arrest report.
