MANCHESTER, CT — A changeover to new exit numbers on Interstate 384 is underway.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation said the new numbers will be in effect on I-384 from Manchester to Bolton. The project began Monday completion is anticipated by Oct. 6, 2025.

The project (DOT 0170-5026) consists of replacing large, extruded aluminum signs and sign supports along the freeway section on Route 6 and along the entirety of I-384. To be in conformance with Federal standards, exit numbers on I-384 are required to be revised from the existing sequential numbering to mileage-based numbering.
