Wrong-Way Driver Facing 11 Charges After Manchester Incident
A Hartford woman was arrested after a weekend wrong-way driving incident in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — A wrong-way driving incident on a highway in Manchester has left a Hartford woman with 11 criminal charges, state police said.
According to an arrest report, at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, state police received several calls about a driver heading the wrong way near Exit 62 on Interstate 84. At first, the vehicle was stoped on the left-hand eastbound shoulder, but it then turned around and began heading west in an erratic manner in the high-occupancy vehicle lane, according to an arrest report.
State police broke off the pursuit and the vehicle was later located in East Windsor, state police said.

The driver was identified as 24-year-old Tierra Turner, of Hartford. She was charged with:
- Reckless driving
- Disobeying the signal of an officer
- Engaging police in a pursuit
- A lane violation
- Traveling the wrong way on a divided highway
- Making an improper turn
- Improper parking on a highway
- A traffic control signal violation
- Illegal tinted windows
- Interfering with police
- Disorderly conduct
- First-degree reckless endangerment
She was held over the weekend on a $25,000 bond and was to appear in Hartford Superior Court Monday.
