Mansfield 2015 Election Guide: The Candidates, Polling Places, Sample Ballot
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3 and we share with you some of the information you'll need to know.

Tuesday is Election Day in Mansfield. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Here are the races on the ballot.
Town Council

Voters can choose any six candidates.
Democrat candidates include Ben Shaiken and incumbents Paul Shapiro, Toni Moran, Bill Ryan, Peter Kochenburger and Alex Marcellino. Republican candidates include Mark Sargent and incumbents Virginia Raymond and Steve Kegler.

Board of Education
Voters can select any two candidates.
Democratic incumbents are Randy Walikonis, who is board chairman, and Kathy Ward. Republican candidates are Katherine Paulhus and Al Fratoni.
Board of Assessment Appeals
Voters can vote for two candidates:
Democrat candidates are Anne Greineder and Carol Thomas. The Republican candidate is Eric Holinko.
Planning and Zoning Commission
Full Term: vote for any two.
Democratic candidates are Binu Chandy and Susan Westa. The Republican candidate is Roswell Hall III.
To fill Vacancy for 4 Years: Republican Charles Ausburger.
To fill Vacancy for 2 Years: Republican Vera Stearns Ward.
Alternate: to fill a Vacancy for 2 Years: Katherine Holt.
Zoning Board of Appeals
Vote for two candidates.
Candidates are Democrats Rick Brosseau and Shirley Katz.
Regional Board of Education
Vote for two candidates.
The candidates are two Democrats, Nancy Silander and Ronald Schurin.
Polling places:
District 1 – Mansfield Community Center, 10 South Eagleville Road
District 2 – Mansfield Fire Department Station 107 @ Eagleville, 889 Stafford Road
District 3 – Buchanan Auditorium, Mansfield Library, 54 Warrenville Road
District 4 – Annie Vinton School, 306 Stafford Road
