Mansfield Election 2025 Voter Guide: Meet The Candidates

MANSFIELD, CT — On Nov. 4, residents of Mansfield cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.

Election Day Polling Hours And Locations

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using

Here are the local candidates:

Town Council, Vote for Up to Six

  • The Democratic candidates are Sarah Dufresne, Antonia Moran, Sam Bruder, Ben Shaiken, Carlita Cotton, and Lizzie Mullen. The Republican candidates are Chris Kueffner, Charles J Ausburger, Gail A Zaicek, Aaron Bowman, and William "Bill" Tomecko. The petitioning candidate is Brian Q Coleman

Board of Education Full Term, Vote for Up to Two

  • The Democratic candidates are Haley Gross de Jimenez and Kristin Dilaj and the Republican candidate is Gregory M Cecil

Board of Education To Fill Vacancy for Four Years, Vote for One

  • The candidate is John Fratiello, Jr., a Democrat

Board of Assessment Appeals, Vote for Up to Two

  • The Democratic candidates are Barbara Vaughan and Shannon Hirsch Sion and the Republican candidate is Doryann Plante

Planning and Zoning Commission, Vote for Up to Two

  • The Democratic candidates are Kenneth Rawn and Zachary Anglin and the Republican candidate is Vera Stearns Ward

Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate, Vote for Up to Two

  • The Democratic candidates are Joshua Walters and Alexander Marcellino and the Republican candidate is Robert M Zaicek

Zoning Board of Appeals, Vote for Up to Two

  • The Democratic candidates are Darwin A Jurado and Max Gigle and the Republican candidate is Robert S Stearns

Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate, Vote for Up to Two

  • The Democratic candidates are Stephen Martin and Warren Murphy and the Republican candidate is Deborah S Paulson
