The Diaries of Martin & Almira (Hibbard) Parker 1862–1907 These transcribed diaries provide a fascinating window into daily lives of a late nineteenth century rural Connecticut family. The Parker’s were a unique family dedicated to education, agriculture and their community. Don’t miss this opportunity to step back in time and learn about this most interesting family.

The Building of Mansfield Hollow Dam An informative exhibit on the reasons for the flood control project, the controversy surrounding it and the properties and homes that were lost as a result. Additions to the the exhibit will be artifacts from the estate of Rex Altomare, one of the Army Corp’s lead construction engineers and resident dam tender from 1952 to 1973.
