Incident

Joel Ocasio, 20, of 41 Potter St., was turned over to Connecticut State Police after being stopped by loss prevention at Kohl’s Department Store in Mansfield.

Report

Mansfield Resident State Troopers responded to 727 Stafford Rd. for a report of an evading motor vehicle collision. A subsequent investigation revealed that the evading motor vehicle is suspected to be a 95-99 Nissan Maxima with heavy front end passenger side damage, according to a police report. DUI Arrest

Melanie Lynn Ryan, 22, of 289 Woodland Rd., was arrested by state police on Wormwood Hill Road and charged with traveling unreasonably fast for conditions, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use with cannabis substance and possession of less than half an ounce of cannabis.
