‘Rosie,’ as he was known to many, enjoyed and participated in sports his entire life. As late as last summer he was an active participant in the Cape Cod Seniors Softball League where he played and umpired. His love for the New York Yankees and UConn Huskies Athletics were ever present. As a loving husband, father and friend he was always there for anyone who needed him.

Besides Sherwood’s large circle of friends and loving wife, he leaves his son, Michael Rose and his wife Linda of Auburn NH, and his daughter, Jill Rose Card and her husband Scott Card of Mansfield Center. Papa’s world was made brighter by his four beautiful grandchildren. He leaves Zachary, Olivia, Delaney, and Jack with many memories and lessons of a life well lived.
