Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center Offers New Services

From Nash Zimmer Transportation Center: The Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center, located at 23 Royce Circle in the heart of Storrs Center, continues to grow and offer a variety of services to both residents and visitors alike.Situated just outside the Storrs Center parking garage, the NZTC has become a hub for transportation and other useful amenities in the area. Visitors receive two hours of free parking in the garage while visiting local attractions, with ambassador staff available Monday through Saturday to offer assistance.

For those looking for travel options, a number of buses including Peter Pan, local WRTD, and University of Connecticut shuttles all arrive and depart from just outside the building. Additionally, two Zipcars are now available as a car sharing option and can be reserved through their website and picked up inside the garage. Area cyclists commuting to work in Storrs also have the opportunity to join the Bicycle Commuter Club which is based out of the Transportation Center.

Membership grants access to private showers, lockers, and secure bicycle storage for a monthly fee.The Transportation Center is also home to the Mansfield Library Express, a branch of the Mansfield Public Library, where patrons can drop off returns, pick up holds, and even checkout materials from a small on site collection.
