State Police Blotter: Nov. 22 - Dec. 3, 2015

Nov. 22:

  • Kenneth A. Christopher, 54, of Washington, CT, was stopped on Route 320 in Mansfield at 1:57 a.m. He was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in proper lane. Bond was set at $500.

Nov. 25:

  • Payton C. Brennan, 19, of Tolland, was arrested on a warrant police obtained following a Nov. 1 motor vehicle crash on Plains Road in Mansfield. He was charged with failure to wear a seatbelt, insurance coverage that fails minimum requirements and evading responsibility. Bond was set at $500.

  • Theresa Santos, 38, of Danielson, was arrested on a warrant that police obtained following a Nov. 6 incident on Storrs Road, Mansfield. She was charged with second-degree harassment. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Joel A. Javanainen-Brown, 21, of Mansfield, was arrested on a disorderly charge following a shoving match with a relative. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Yeongjin Gwon, 32, of Mansfield, was arrested on disorderly conduct and third-degree assault charges in connection with a Sept. 26 incident on North Eagleville Road in Mansfield. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Jaerno Yang, 31, of Mansfield, was arrested on disorderly conduct charge in connection with a Sept. 26 incident on North Eagleville Road in Mansfield. Bond was set at $5,000.

Nov. 30:

  • Pashupati Karki, 38, of Mansfield Center, was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge on Route 195 in Mansfield. Police received a report of a damaged vehicle being driving by a man who seems to be in distress, according to a police report. Karki is accused of being unable to tell police how or where his car was damaged and failed field sobriety tests, according to the report. Bond was set at $1,000.

  • Melissa Baia, 21, of Ridgefield, was arrested on charges of public disturbance and third-degree assault in connection with an Oct. 16 incident on King Hill Road in Storrs. Bond was set at $500.
